Abstract electrolyzer is one of the key equipment of the non-ferrous metallurgy, more corrosion resistant FRP Lining means. In this paper, the departure from the the actual corrosive media such as copper, nickel refining process, the the Jinchuan Company electrolyzer corrosion protection works and the implementation of corrosion resistant resin selection, new vinyl ester resin performance, engineering quality control.

    CORROSION AND PROTECTION OF ELECTROBATH IN NON-FERROUS METALLURGICAL INDUCTRY

    Abstract：Electrobath is one of the most importiont equipment in nonferrous metallurgical industry, FRP lining methods are often used as an anticorrosion measure in this area. This paper introduces the status quo of the electrobath anticorrosion engineering in Jinchuan Company ,the corrosion in copper and nickel metallurgy ,selecting material of anticorrosive resin ,performance of new vinyl resin ,control of the engineering quality and so on .

1 electrolyzer corrosion protection
The nonferrous metallurgy electrolyzer is one of the key equipment of the non-ferrous metal smelting process. Once the electrolytic cell corrosion, in addition to affecting product quality and yield, but also hinder the implementation of the new process, and construction safety is also crucial. Therefore anti-corrosion work, do a good job electrolyzer major the colored refining significance. In recent years, I participated in a number of non-ferrous metals electrolyzer corrosion protection project implementation, as an introduction to this.
    FRP FRP light weight, high strength, good insulation, the temperature is good construction technology and design features, has been widely used. One important application area is the the ferrous smelting electrolyzer of corrosion protection. Jinchuan's smelter FRP lining or FRP overall equipment, mainly used in the copper, nickel and electrolytic cell. The electrolyzer process conditions and its corrosion protection works are shown in Table 1, Table 2.
